General Information
Park DuValle Community Health Center, Inc. (PDCHC) maintains a formal process for the acquisition of equipment, supplies and services while practicing good internal control procedures in compliance with the Federal Office of Management and Budget Circular A-122 and A-110 guidelines.

Policy
To assure cost effective and efficient purchasing processes, PDCHC adheres to its internal procurement policies as established in the Center’s Financial Policies and Procedures Manual.  Written competitive bids are required for purchases greater than $10,000.  All purchases requiring a competitive bid must be submitted to the Purchasing Department. The staff vendor selections based on the bid process will be submitted by the Executive Director to the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors.  The PDCHC Board of Directors has final approval for vendor selection in the competitive bidding process.

How can I find out about Invitations to Bid?
The legal section of local newspapers (Courier Journal, Spencer Magnet) and the Park DuValle Community Health Center website (www.pdchc.org) will contain notification of bid opportunities.

When are bids opened?
The front of the bid page will specify when bids are opened.

Do I need to be pre-qualified to bid?
Prequalification is not required.  Qualifications and certifications for specific contracts will be included as requirements for consideration as a viable bidder.

What do I need to do to have my company added to the PDCHC bidders’ list?
The PDCHC Purchasing Department may be contacted by email, mail or fax to be included in the bidder’s list. Be sure to specify the services and/or products your company provides.
